The brand
Our olive groves are located in Molochio (RC), a village of two thousand souls on the edge of the uncontaminated area of the Aspromonte National Park. Molochio has drawn the attention of the international scientific community for its high percentages of centenarians, who suggested a link between longevity and the Mediterranean diet of its inhabitants, rich in high quality Olive Oil consumption
Deliba is a brand of Extra Virgin Olive Oil of the finest quality obtained from the centuries-old olive groves of our farm located in Italy's southernmost region of Calabria, known as "the toe of Italy's boot". With Deliba we have chosen to commit to sustainable agriculture that is intended to care for nature and respect the territory, its biodiversity and cultural heritage
The products
We produce two EVO oils from our two varieties of olives: the Ottobratica and Sinopolese cultivars. Our EVOO is cold-pressed and obtained solely through mechanical means, without the use of chemicals. This allows us to produce a high quality Olive Oil which retains all of its nutritional benefits
The term "Deliba" is derived from the Latin verb "delibare", which means to taste, to savor food and drinks, according to the Mediterranean lifestyle which values conviviality and the art of the senses. Our goal is to provide our customers with a truly authentic Mediterranean culinary experience
The Excellence of Deliba: the EVOO of Calabria
Our oils: the Ottobratico and Sinopolese monocultivars
A monocultivar olive oil is made with one variety of olives. Each monocultivar produces an oil with unique sensory qualities, rich in scents, flavours and aromas
Our EVOO is obtained from two native cultivars of southern Calabria: the Ottobratico and Sinopolese
MONOCULTIVAR OTTOBRATICO
The cultivar Ottobratico gives us a medium fruity oil with a bitter and spicy balanced taste, in a bright golden green colour. To the nose it has a scent of sage, field balm, fresh-cut chicory and yellow cherry tomato. To the taste, it has an aroma of toasted hazelnut, ripe aubergine and a touch of turmeric.

MONOCULTIVAR SINOPOLESE
The cultivar Sinopolese expresses a lighty fruity green oil with golden shades. To the nose, it has vegetable notes of fresh-cut grass and radicchio trevigiano. To the taste, it has a bitter hint of cardoon and spinach, and lastly a spicy scent of ginger.
